Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before making a booking with Magic Play Party.
1. Supervision
All children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Magic Play Party does not provide supervision.
2. Use of Equipment
All equipment is used at the client’s own risk. Magic Play Party will not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during use.
3. Suitability
The soft play equipment is designed for babies and toddlers only. Older children should not use the equipment.
4. Cleanliness & Care
No shoes, food, drinks, face paint, or messy play are allowed on the equipment.
Any damage or excessive cleaning required due to misuse may result in additional charges.
5. Setup Area
The client is responsible for providing a safe, clean, and suitable area for setup (flat surface, sheltered if outdoors).
6. Weather
For outdoor setups, Magic Play Party is not responsible for weather-related issues. Equipment must be protected from rain, wind, and direct hazards.
7. Damage or Loss
The client is responsible for any loss or damage to equipment during the hire period.
8. Booking, Cancellations & Refunds
Full payment is required to secure your booking.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the event are non-refundable but may be transferred to a new date, subject to availability.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are non-refundable and non-transferable.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to weather. Clients are responsible for arranging a suitable backup indoor space where necessary.
If Magic Play Party is unable to set up due to unsafe conditions, lack of access, or incorrect information provided, no refund will be issued.
9. Delivery, Setup & Collection
Delivery and collection times will be arranged in advance based on availability.
Magic Play Party will arrive approximately 45 minutes prior to the agreed start time to set up the equipment.
Setup time is not included in the hire period and is provided at no additional cost.
The hire period begins once setup is complete and ends at the agreed collection time.
Please ensure the setup area is ready and accessible upon arrival. Delays caused by the area not being ready may impact the hire time.
Local Delivery (0–15km from Green Point, Cape Town) is free.
Extended Local Delivery (15–30km) is charged at R150.
Any access limitations (e.g. stairs, long walking distances, restricted entry) must be communicated in advance.
10. Hire Duration
The hire period is based on the agreed booking time (2, 3, or 4 hours).
Extended use beyond the agreed time may result in additional charges.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
